CPN World – Privacy Notice

CPN World is a members-only platform of Cargo Power Network. This notice explains what personal data we process when you use CPN World, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we process

  • Membership and account data: your name, company, city, country, business email address, business phone number and company website. Most of this comes from your company's CPN membership records; you can update it in your profile.
  • Profile and game data: your display name, character appearance, office/warehouse/fleet settings, services, status (e.g. "Open for quotes"), event attendance and company logo.
  • Activity data: quote requests (RFQs) you send or receive and their status, chat messages, guestbook messages, greetings, visits to member worlds, points, levels and daily goals.
  • Technical data: login and security information (e.g. sign-in times, two-factor authentication status for admins) and basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.

3. Why we use your data and on what basis

4. Who can see your data

  • Other CPN members can see your profile information (name, display name, company, city, country, business contact details, services, character, world and event attendance), your guestbook entries and your points/level.
  • RFQs and chat messages are visible only to the two members involved and to CPN World administrators.
  • CPN World administrators (CPN staff) can see all data to run and protect the platform.
  • Service providers that host and run CPN World on our behalf, under data processing terms:
    • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) – data hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany)
    • Vercel (web hosting)
    • Resend (email delivery)
    • Cloudflare (domain name services)

We do not sell your data and do not share it for marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

Cargo Power Network LLC is based in the United States and some service providers may process data outside your country. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA or Türkiye, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.

6. How long we keep your data

  • While your company is an active CPN member and your account is active.
  • If your company's membership ends or your account is deactivated, your access is blocked immediately and your data is deleted after 90 days, unless we must keep certain records longer by law.
  • Security and admin audit logs are kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are (for example under the EU GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you,
  • correct inaccurate data,
  • ask us to delete your data,
  • object to or restrict certain processing,
  • receive your data in a portable format,
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Access to CPN World is invite-only. Data is encrypted in transit, access rules ensure members only see what they are allowed to see, and administrator accounts are protected with two-factor authentication.

9. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the version and date above and ask you to review and accept the new version when you next sign in.
